Scott is decidedly the most knowledgeable Internet Marketing Authority
within the hospitality industry. In 1992 he took over as publisher
of the then Oregon Bed and Breakfast Directory - a printed guidebook
with a free distribution of 60,000 copies.
By 1994 Scott and his wife, Allison, had expanded the directory
to cover a total of six states, increased the distribution to 120,000,
and developed one of the first online lodging guides - www.bbexplorer.com.
Scott expanded his reach into the B&B industry when he launched
the first Internet marketing company solely dedicated to the hospitality
industry - Moriah Mountain Internet Marketing. He later built on
this success by giving birth to White Stone Marketing (a premium
web design and online marketing service). Scott's reputation has
continued to grow and benefit lodging professionals as evidenced
by his national speaking engagements, article writing, consultation,
online forums and, most recently, book authoring.
