Old Orchard Farm - Starksboro, VT

Ken Von Kohorn, owner of Old Orchard Farm, a vacation rental in Starksboro, Vermont came to White Stone Marketing with several challenges. This was Ken's first experience owning a lodging property and he needed the guidance and direction from a company who understood not only design but also the necessary details for setting a good marketing foundation. As a photographer, Ken was able to take the photos we required for an effective design before we even started the creative process. Without exceptional photography, good design is severely limited. Thus, with consultations from the White Stone team, Ken took hundreds of photos of the interior and exterior for us to use in the design. Next, after taking a good look at the competition, we developed a site with an entirely different look and feel than any other vacation rental in the area. Starksboro is very remote but is close to 3 popular ski areas, and through the design and promotion of the site, Ken will be able to capture that market.

Ken worked very closely with the White Stone team in every aspect of the design process, constantly refining content, photos and even in the final addition of the shopping cart to sell the farm products. Old Orchard isn't just a vacation rental, with over 1500 taps; Old Orchard Farm boasts an active maple sugar operation and a working barn. Thus, Ken knew he needed a good, solid design that would successfully sell the home as well as the unique farm products as well.

The stunning beauty of the landscape was captured through a flash sequence highlighting the incredible panoramic vistas of the property on the activities page. Furthermore, the home itself is unique in its structure and amenities - all captured in the simple, yet elegant rendering of the Old Orchard design.
