Shelter Island House

The Challenge:

I distinctly remember talking to Janet and Susan, sisters and owners of the new Shelter Island House, while we were putting on our first HMS Conference! I was able to steal away after the show to have a discussion about their plans to purchase an inn on Shelter Island NY. Not only had they not run an inn before but they wanted to change the name, the branding and the entire operation! I applauded their vigor and enthusiasm and our team was delighted they put their trust in us to help with this total makeover project. While the sisters took ownership and made all the internal changes at the inn, our team launched a temporary site for them, consulted on branding and logo development and got to work creating the content and the artistic direction of the new website for their Shelter Island hotel.

The Answer:

After a few months, the time had finally come to unveil the new site. While the project did take a tad longer than expected, the wait was certainly worth it! You’ll enjoy the fun and fanciful navigation and elements we brought forth in this site to capture the beachy yet elegant island style living of Shelter Island. While only recently launched, the site has already proven its worth. Christian Giannelli Photography is featured throughout – he was able to capture the personality and culture of the inn while also featuring outstanding photography of the surrounding area.
